Trolls (Comedy/Animation/Adventure) – November 4
In this Dreamworks animated movie, the Bergens – a sad species who can only feel happiness from eating trolls – have started to recapture them. Princess Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and her polar opposite, Troll Branch (Justin Timberlake), set off on a quest to save their captured people.
Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk (Drama/War) – November 11
TriStar Productions brings us a movie about the realities of war. Through a series of flashbacks as a war veteran (Joe Alwyn) takes the stage to be honored, we learn the reality of the battlefield – and how disillusioned we are.
Arrival (Sci-Fi/Thriller) – November 11
As spaceships touchdown on earth, a linguistic professor by the name of Dr. Louise Banks (Amy Adams) and a team of 12 others race to try and find a way to contact the alien invaders.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Adventure/Fantasy) – November 18
Take a step back into the wizarding world with the adventures of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), as he races to try and find the creatures that escaped from his magical luggage.
The Edge of Seventeen (Comedy) – November 18
Nadine (Hailee Steinfield) already felt awkward in junior high, but now her best friend is dating her older brother – life can’t get much worse.
Moana (Animation/Fantasy) – November 23
Disney brings us the story of Moana (Auli’i Cravalho), an adventurous girl who is aided by the demigod, Maui (Dwayne Johnson), as she sets sail in order to save her people.
